SALEE'S STORY

SALEE'S STORY

November 7, 2006 – Hasswa, Iraq:
Salee, a ten-year-old girl, was playing outside her home with her brother, cousin and some friends. US jets circled overhead. Suddenly the jets fired three missiles, apparently at two passenger vehicles. One of the missiles struck near Salee's home, killing her brother and blowing off both of Salee's legs. This is just one story of many hundreds known euphemistically as "Collateral Damage."

In this video we'll learn first hand what happened to Salee and her family that day and about what some are doing to heal those wounds.

Salee was in the United States for pro-bono medical care for those injuries. Her trip was sponsored entirely by donations and was organized by No More Victims.
